CALEANGUS members served a Labor Day barbecue dinner to the Aircraft Maintainers who are deployed to McClellan Tanker Base supporting the Aerial Firefighting Mission. They served members from the 146th Airlift Wing, the Reno Air Guard and the Colorado Air Force Reserves.ย State President, Josh Baker, reached out to the Maintenance Crew who have been deployed for over a month and asked how the Enlisted Association can help improve the morale at the Airfield.ย They requested a barbecue on Labor Day since they would be missing out on the traditional Labor Day festivities.ย CALEANGUS was happy to facilitate the request and braved the heat and jet noise to help raise the morale.ย Members who participated were: Josh Baker – State President, Darlene Perez – Member-at-Large, Jessica Murphy – Membership Chair, and Chuy Silva – Member.
