The California State Commanders Veterans Council (CSCVC) will be hosting its capitol advocacy day in Sacramento on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.ย As CAL-EANGUS is a member of the CSCVC, all CAL-EANGUS members are welcomed to attend.
This is an opportunity for veterans to visit state legislators and their staff to advocate and educate on issues of importance to Veterans. Please wear your hats and/or other organizational clothing! Show the legislature that veterans are active! The State Capitol buildingโs legislative annex is undergoing a multi-year remodel. The Governor, Lt. Governor, and Legislators are currently housed in a state office building called the capitol annex swing space, which is 1 block south of the west end of Capitol Park. This event will be held at the California Secretary of Stateโs office building, which is across the street from the swing space.
Open to the first 75 Veterans who register. Attendance for this event is limited to 75 people because of the meeting roomโs occupancy limit. If you have questions or if you sign up and then need to cancel, please let Dana Nichol know so another veteran can take your place: danan@water-warrior.com
