CAL EANGUS members have a powerful opportunity to make their voices heard at the All-Veterans Capitol Advocacy Day on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in Sacramento. Hosted by the California State Commanders Veterans Council (CSCVC), this annual event brings together veterans from across the state to meet directly with legislators and staff to advocate on issues impacting service members, veterans, and their families.

Advocacy Day is more than a visit to the Capitol—it is a chance for Guardsmen and veterans to share real experiences and help shape the policies that affect education, employment, housing, benefits, and the unique needs of National Guard members who serve under both state and federal missions. CAL EANGUS is proud to stand alongside our fellow veteran service organizations to ensure the enlisted Guard perspective is part of every conversation.

Why This Matters

Decisions made in Sacramento directly affect National Guard activations, state benefits, employment protections, and family support programs. When CAL EANGUS members show up, legislators see the real faces behind the policies. Our presence reinforces that Guardsmen are not just part-time responders—they are full-time stakeholders in California’s safety and resilience.
