The mission of CALEANGUS is to improve the welfare, benefits, and overall conditions of the enlisted Soldiers and Airmen of California by providing a collective voice to our State and National legislators and supporting the mission and efforts of EANGUS.
Who Can Join?
Enlisted Membership
Open to any Enlisted member; active, separated or retired, of the National Guard. (e.g. a Traditional/M-Day Guardsman or a California State Guardsmen who has retired from the regular component).
Associate Membership
Open to any person not eligible for Enlisted Membership who actively supports the purposes, goals, and objectives of the Association. (e.g. Officers, business owners, family members and California State Guardsmen who are not otherwise affiliated to the active component).

Memberships are available in Annual or Life Memberships.

Scholarships
Scholarships are available for members and their dependents! Scholarships vary from cash scholarships to fully paid tuition programs. Applications vary between each program. Click the link to learn more.

State Service Member Life Insurance (SSLI)
The California State Sponsored Life Insurance (SSLI) program is managed by CAL-EANGUS and provides group term life insurance exclusively for actively serving members of the Army and Air National Guard organizations and their dependents. The program is derived from United States Public Law 93-289, May 24, 1974, to encourage persons to join and remain in the National Guard. TAG SSLI Support Letter

CAL-EANGUS Is a Proud Member of the California State Commanders Veterans Council
The purpose of the California State Veterans Commanders Council shall be to promote the rights and benefits of veterans in the State of California. The Council may conduct advocacy efforts in the State Legislature in support of, or opposition to, proposed legislation concerning veterans’ rights, entitlements, and benefits. The Council may conduct similar advocacy efforts with the California Department of Veterans Affairs, the California Veterans Board, and similar state agencies, boards, and commissions, concerning veterans’ programs under the management of those agencies.
