GRANTHAM UNIVERSITY
Emergency Funding Option
The Grantham VST has funding available to help Grantham University military students with short term financial needs that can hinder their progress. Examples include, but are not limited to: troubles paying utility bills, struggling to provide groceries for one’s family, and issues with transportation. University fees such as tuition, textbooks/software, etc., do not quality for VST Emergency Funds. Any Grantham University military student that is either active duty, guard, reserve or a veteran is eligible.
Veteran Support Services
The Veteran Support Team (VST) is a group of Grantham staff and military veterans dedicated to providing support to military and veteran students, as well as their families. We offer an array of services, including comprehensive career planning, ADA accommodations, mentorship, support for our local chapter of the Student Veterans of America (SVA), resources to maximize your military benefits, transfer credits, and military educational resource network and much more. EANGUS – WE CARE FOR AMERICA FOUNDATION
The EANGUS We Care for America Foundation (WCFA) is a IRS 501(c)3 charity arm of EANGUS. It provides several opportunities: emergency financial grants; scholarships; and recognition awards. WCFA offers an opportunity to a current or former enlisted National Guard members who are in good standing and an EANGUS dues paying member (Life or Annual) who has experienced a catastrophic financial hardship and/or personal property loss, to apply for a Soldier & Airman Relief Grant for Emergencies.

AUSA & EANGUS DISCOUNT PARTNERSHIP

National University
The Opportunity Scholarship
National University participates in the California Community Colleges-Associate Degree for Transfer (CCC-ADT) program, which guarantees Associate in Arts for Transfer and Associate in Science for Transfer degrees (Associate degrees that use the CSU Breadth or IGETC patterns as general education for degree completion) are fully transferable and are aligned to similar bachelor’s degrees, which can be completed in 60 semester credits (90 quarter units) or less.
CCC transfer students who have earned their Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT), Associate of Arts (AA), or Associate of Science (AS) degree within 12 months of applying to NU are eligible for the transfer scholarship pricing of $880 per course. Additional coursework beyond the 60 semester credits (90 quarter units) may be required for AA and AS transfer degrees. In order to be eligible for a National University scholarship, all students must complete a FAFSA.

The California Military Department Support Fund supports programs for the benefit of California Service members and their families, and to support military sponsored youth programs throughout the state. The Military Department is authorized to solicit and accept funds, donations, equipment, services, and more from private individuals and companies.

Army Retirement Services develops Army policies and oversees Army wide programs that educate Soldiers and their families about retirement, advise survivors of soldiers who die on active duty/inactive duty for training, advocate for and advise Retired Soldiers and surviving spouses until death in order to comply with federal laws and DoD and Army policies, convince Retired Soldiers to remain active Soldiers for life who help Veterans get hired, inspire the next generation to join the military, and connect Americans with the Army that defends them.
Air Force Retired
The Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center, located on Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado, is a major command direct reporting unit of Air Force Reserve Command with technical and policy guidance provided by the Chief of Air Force. HQ ARPC is the organization charged with executing policy created by Headquarters Air Force and the National Guard Bureau, as well as providing direct support to wing-level Force Support Staffs and Commander Support Staffs.

Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)
DFAS is committed to ensuring payments are made to our customers and vendors. We are working daily to provide the quality finance and accounting services that you have entrusted to us. We encourage you to use our online tools such as myPay, AskDFAS and our phone self-service tools. Our Customer Care Center representatives are also available to assist you for any questions you might have outside of the online options.
Report the Death of a Retiree Online
Spouses and children of recently-deceased retirees: We have new, helpful tools and information to assist you with the SF 1174 for claiming the retiree’s Arrears of Pay. We can now deposit an Arrears of Pay (AOP) payment directly to an eligible claimant’s bank account instead of mailing a check.
