CAL EANGUS is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 CAL EANGUS Scholarship, each awarded a $1,000 cash scholarship to use as they wish toward their educational goals. Whether for tuition, supplies, or personal development, these scholarships are designed to support our members and their families as they pursue higher education and professional advancement.
Applications were thoroughly reviewed and scored by the CAL EANGUS Scholarship Committee, with selections based on academic achievement, service, and community involvement.
This year’s recipients represent a wide array of units and affiliations from across the California National Guard and, for the first time, the California State Guard (CSG).

This year marks a historic milestone for the scholarship program with the selection of SGT(CA) Jasiah McCray, the first-ever recipient from the California State Guard.
“A few years ago, the CAL EANGUS board voted to allow California State Guard members into the association—either as Enlisted Members (if they previously served in a Federal Component) or as Associate Members,” said Josh J. Baker, President of CAL EANGUS. “It’s incredible to now see those members benefiting from programs like the scholarship fund. This is exactly why we made that decision.”
We extend our sincere gratitude to the CAL EANGUS Scholarship Committee for their time and dedication to reviewing applications, as well as to our generous donors who make this program possible:

Congratulations again to all our recipients. We are proud to support your journey and look forward to seeing the positive impact you will continue to make.
