Walk, Run, Remember, and Support Our National Guard Community!
This Veterans Day, lace up your running shoes, gather your friends and family, and join fellow National Guard members and supporters across the country for the 2026 EANGUS Veterans Day Virtual 5K!
Hosted by the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) Ways & Means Committee, this special fundraising event brings together fitness, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to honoring those who have served our nation.
And the best part? You can participate from anywhere in California!
Whether you’re running along the American River Parkway, walking the beaches of Southern California, exploring a trail in the Central Valley, or completing your miles on a treadmill, you can participate wherever you choose.
Event Details
- Date: Wednesday, November 11, 2026 — Veterans Day
- Time: Anytime between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m.
- Distance: 5 kilometers (3.1 miles)
- Registration Fee: $25
- Location: Virtual — participate from anywhere!

Participants are invited to walk or run their 5K and track their time and distance. For those looking for a little friendly competition, EANGUS is also offering a Fastest Time Challenge! Simply select the challenge option when registering.
Every registered participant will receive a digital race bib and a commemorative medal sponsored by the EANGUS Junior Enlisted Committee. Be sure to provide your shipping address during registration so your medal can be delivered.
Supporting a Great Cause
This event is more than just a 5K. It’s an opportunity to support the ongoing efforts of EANGUS while celebrating the service and sacrifice of our military veterans.
Proceeds support the EANGUS Ways & Means Committee’s fundraising efforts, with opportunities to make additional donations benefiting the Ways & Means Committee and Junior Enlisted Committee.
Through events like this, EANGUS continues building connections within the National Guard community while encouraging participation, teamwork, and service.
