What to Expect
The agenda for the conference (attached below) is designed to provide members with the tools and knowledge needed to understand how legislation works and, more importantly, how we can make a difference in that process.
Our goal this year is to empower our members with practical skills to navigate the legislative system and become strong advocates for the needs and concerns of Californiaโs National Guard community. Through hands-on training sessions, keynote presentations, and panel discussions with experienced legislative and policy professionals, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of:
- How legislation is introduced, debated, and passed at both state and federal levels
- How professional military organizations like CAL EANGUS influence policy decisions
- The most effective ways to advocate for the issues that matter to our Guardsmen

CAL EANGUS has a long-standing tradition of advocating for the well-being and advancement of enlisted Guardsmen across California. This conference will provide members with a clearer picture of how these efforts are undertaken and how each one of us can get involved to make a meaningful impact.
